A Message From Mrs Brasher

A message from Mrs. Brasher about today:

What a difference there was between today’s debrief and the debrief after Super Debate 1. Unfortunately that first debrief seemed to be more about complaints. This debrief showed a huge amount of growth and maturity; it was heart-warming and positive. You all brought up so many ideas for ways to improve your performances: signposting, passionate delivery, explaining issues completely to the judge, realizing the problems of the curse of knowledge, concentrating on main arguments rather than trying to go over every point in the debate, pointing out the importance in PF of the final focus, the need to point out things that are obvious to you but may not be obvious to the judge, working closely with your partner. You had so many wonderful positive steps to take to be a better debater. Thank you for two wonderful class periods today.
